Does anyone still use HyperVRE?

I started researching it and noticed that there are no posts in about a year. Has this type of automatic site building fallen out of favor?

I was thinking if I has some medium volume keywords that could get ranked fairly easily, then something like HyperVRE would be worth looking into to create some sites.

But people still use the site builder xSitePro correct? I know there's a big difference but I'm looking for an automated site builder. I want one that is on my machine, not that I have to pay monthly for access and will lose access to my sites once I quit.

Ideally I want to be able to use my articles and have the site built with my Adsense, Amazon, Clickbank, etc. Any ideas?

You may say WordPress, but for some reason, I cannot understand that concept. Perhaps it is too simple for me and I am overlooking something. Do I download and install WP for each domain that I want a site on? Do I have multiple admin accounts?
