Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share my joy of this mile stone. My blog just broke 91k on Alexa.com. I'm stoked! I just started this blog this past July. I'm extremely excited to see whats to come. Just to show you that it is possible for a newbie like me to grow online. This is what I have been doing; 1. Write content using my specific keywords for SEO. 2.Wrote 2 articles for ezinearticles.com(I know I need to do more). 3.I held 3 blog contests(great for traffic). 4.Asked for backlinks from other bloggers related to my niche. 5.Invested in $50 worth of paid reviews on different blogs. Try these tips out and let me know what you think! I look forward to your replies! Jerry |

Don't want to burst your bubble, but it ain't that big of a deal! Now if that was on Google, it would be a different story.
Always remember, your "ranking" is ONLY among Alexa users. It's NOT a "web wide" picture of your site popularity. One other thing.. "Paid Reviews"? Now that's one for the books! Pete |

I understand that it's among alexa users, it's still shows growth. IMO paid reviews shouldn't hurt as long as there are no text links. There are a lot of big time bloggers who who have been offering these reviews for years and have been good with google.

The blog launched this past July and has made about $300 in total. I haven't really monetized it yet. I should jump on that this weekend.

Well done!
I won't go into the significance or otherwise of a high Alexa ranking as that's been covered recently in another thread. The important measurement to know after 3 months work and your monetary investment, is whether your site is hitting the income targets you set. Good luck. Frank |
