Setting up My Thank You Page - help ...

Hi,

Have created a thank you page and at the bottom have just mentioned right after the download button

"Simply click on the button above to download the product instantly to your computer."

I am also offering 4 free bonuses so I presume these will all be downloaded together - is this right or will the bonuses be emailed. I think the norm is that they would all be downloaded from the thank you page all in one file?

    You can make them all in one archive or you can have multiple download buttons for each
    it's really your choice..

    As the above mentioned just compress all you're files in to zip files and on your download page offer a link to the zip file such as:

    www.domainname.com/yourdownload.zip

    - Upload the zip file to your server directory.

    I would also offer links to the appropriate software needed to download/open and save the software such as

    Winrar
    Winzip
    Word or Open Office
    Adobe Reader

    This is just an added bonus and nice for you to support the customers this way, also remember to add your email at the bottom if anyone has any problems.

      I have my product which is PDF and 4 bonuses which are PDF so will put them all in a zip file. I guess the appropiate software for me then would be Adobe reader. Where would I put the link, for this on my thank you page?

      There also seems to be many sites, do you know of any official sites for this?

      Last thing, do you have to explain to your customer exactly what to do with downloading etc?? - I have just put this on my thank you page...

    Depending on the niche your in, will depend on whether you should talk to them like they are babies or like they are professionals/experts.

    For example if it's a health niche talk to them like they are babies so for the ones who don't know or are not to sure how to download the content, there are at least step by step guides.

    If it's a computer/mmo niche then no need, just layout the general steps.

    I would like to Adobe's official page for downloading the adobe acrobat reader, add an image as well make it look nice.

      I understand what you are saying and mine is the health niche. All this website stuff is pretty new to me....so can I just confirm do you lay out the general steps of downloading etc actually on the thank-you page and also this abobe reader link/image, where do you stick this on the thank-you page also?

    You add all this to the download page, not the thank you page. The page where you download all the material/content.

    Just a basic step by step guide should be sufficient.

    If they are huge files don't put all of them in one single zip file!

    Make the product file a separate file - maybe I am not interested in the bonuses, I just want the product I paid for.

    Then on separate lines name your bonuses and give the download link for each (i.e. the URL of the zip file <== it start downloading automatically, when clicked)
