Domain TLD harm my chances?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of setting up my first site using the Google Sniper method. Now, ordinarily, I'd be going for a .com domain, but, as it is, money is tight. If I went for a .co.cc domain instead, would it harm my chances of ranking/potential sales? I intend to add the .com later, when the funds are available, but I'd rather know beforehand so I know I'm not wasting my time.

A .co.cc domain immediately looks inferior and deviates
from the norm and standard .com

You can get a .com domain for less than $10.

Treat this like a business.

In business, being cheap can be very expensive.

  Don't go cheap on your domain name. The .com .net and .org names are usually the best names to use. If there is not much competition at all, you might be able to get by with a .info name.

I will always go for .com, .net, .org, and .tv domains. don't bother about google sniper method. It's just a fad that isn't really a big factor in SEO.

Since you are in the UK, getting a .com,.net or .org will only cost you around 5-6 pounds. It's the only investment you will need in addition to a web hosting company. It's the only cost you will need to start your internet business. If you would like to save all the cost, get a blogger account and start from there.
