Question for the writers out there

Okay, I guess that's everyone, but I was curious about any success people have had just on the writing side of things. I haven't been here long, but it seems like a lot of the posts are geared toward affiliate marketing (natural for an IM forum, I guess!)

I just started looking into this, but my skill set is really more geared toward article writing, and I was hoping to focus my efforts on that, blogging, working with PLR, ebooks & other methods that more or less just involve writing or reworking loads of content.

Income out of this is important to me, so this all begs the question...is there money in them thar hills? Or is AM a necessary piece of the puzzle?

Would love to hear some thoughts on this.....

    Well, in my candid opinion, there are lots of opportunities opened to writers. You will have to choose one or two of these opportunities e.g. Bum marketing or freelance writing

      If you can truly write, the online world is your oyster because you can do almost anything. You can offer your services for hire if that's what you want or you can use your skills to promote something. Could be an affiliate product, could be your own product, could be creating a content site to put Adsense on...you'll have to choose what you want.

    Thanks for the responses. "Choose" is definitely the operative word. Looking at some of the other posts, I can take comfort that I don't seem to be the only rookie who is overwhelmed by what's available.

    Guess that's not a bad thing. I really just need to pick something & go for it.
