Ezine Versus Articlesbase?

I'm getting sick of Ezine and their strict bs rules. I just wrote a new article on a brand new niche and answered a question that I myself always had about something in it and yet Ezine gave me the "doesn't contain enough original or informative content" crap. I sent a reply explaining how that's not true but I don't know one occasion where I've sent them a message regarding a problem article and had them admit their fault without me having to change something.

Anyways, where do you all send your articles if they're shot down by Ezine... Articlesbase?

Well strangely enough I've never been shot down by ezine but there are a number of alternatives. Just keep in mind that although Articlesbase is the next best thing, the major drawback is "no-follow". Mind you, that isn't a problem if you can get good clickthroughs.

You can check out a list of article directories with their PR here.

Yep, articlebase is the place to place to go. And if its really rich in keywords, then you can consider goarticles

There will always be something coming up that will seem to delay what you are trying to accomplish, don't focus on that one instance. The best thing to do is just to keep submitting content, they won't reject every article that you throw at them. Keep pushing and you will be successful.

I'm just saying. :p
That's true and I appreciate their desire to be more legitimate and I rarely get anything denied save for when I have too much keyword saturation cos their detector didn't catch it when I initially submitted it. This especially frustrated me because it's a brand new niche for me which I put a lot of time into getting everything right for and the first articles get denied and I completely disagree.

          Point taken, tho.

How long was the article? They have recently raised the minimum number of words required in an article.

    That may be the issue.

Yeah they cut down on the keyword length you can use for under 400 word articles to 3 months ago but that's about it.

I've written over 1000 articles for Ezine over the years so yeah it's not a membership level issue. I'll just have to fix them up a bit. Or send elsewhere as I mentioned in opening it's cool.

Its not like you don't get a chance to change it. Most article problems can be sorted in a couple of minutes.
It will make you better at it in the long run.

Maybe you really do need to add more value? Hard to say. I have one writer in the Philippines and she writes for me full time. She submits everything to EZA and the only rejections we've had were not actually even rejections, but keyword density errors that we needed to fix.

And to be honest, the articles are not even that great. They are just OK. They add value, and they answer questions, but the writing quality could be better (more conversational, better flowing, etc).

But what I'm saying is this: If I can have every single "ok" article accepted at EZA, then you are either just having bad luck with this one article, or it truly isn't a useful article.

GoArticles is a good place to go, or you can use the press release sites. Once you get about 10 articles approved at ezine, then things tend to go a bit easier.

It may be worth while doing some tweaking and getting it approved.

The next best site after EZA in my book is GoArticles. Not only because it gets ranked, but there is no review of your article.

EZA is only going to get more strict. Don't depend on them 100%.
