How much should I pay for this to be outsourced?

So I have a dilema, I need to outsource some work and I need to find a fair asking price.

I need someone to:

Take a keyword, produce a 400-500 page article
Create a Hugpage, and Squidoo Lens
Create a Simple powerpoint video
Submit to Ezine, Ass Content, Amazines, Article Base, Go Articles, etc....
Submit Feeds, and Bookmarks
Ping

Why not post to elance, freelancer, rentacoder, odesk, or guru.com and get bids?

Few things give a market price better than the market.

If this is going to be a long term thing for you, I'd suggest hiring your own full-time outsourced employee and train them. If it's a short-term project and you don't want the hassle, William gave you good advise. But get plenty of bids as you'll notice prices will range all over the board.

You could always try a price (say $50 for the whole package) and see if it works or not, but IMO that takes too much time, so, as already said - post a job description and look for bids.

How much is your time worth, and how long do you estmate it would take you to do all of those things?

Answering that should give you a good starting point.

    All the best,

I believe you are going to get farther by breaking the tasks apart.

Just because someone can write good articles doesn't mean they can create a HubPage or a PowerPoint video.

    Good luck,
    Steve

You can hire from many of the filipinos that can work for 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. You can pay $250 - $500. It depends on your budget.
You can try someone for a trial before giving the person the full contract.

If you have never outsourced before, I recommend doing it piecemeal just for your learning experience.

As mentioned, the skills sets for your tasks vary and the costs will vary too.

I use oDesk and they are super. As you become experienced with outsourcing, you may find someone you want to use for everything on a monthly salary basis.

      My best to you.

When I started outsourcing I thought about it the same way you are thinking now. Piecework projects. I looked for tasks to be done for a price.

That was the wrong way to do it.

The right way is to look at it as recurring stuff that I want someone to do over and over for me, and only me. I want someone to learn how to do this stuff through proper training, ongoing education, etc.

I learned how to hire my own employees. Doing this for $300ish per month is far better than outsourcing tasks one at a time (or even a bundle at a time).

Employ someone to work for you and train them continuously (or train them to learn how to train themselves). It's better.

You will be needing an experienced staff to do all that tasks. I suggest to lease 1 full time staff in a month who will be working 8 hours a day.
I would like to get your contact details so we can further discuss your needs.

    Easy:

A: Sell the Package for say $800.
B: Place an ad on the warrior foryum or somewhere else that says "I have a project that pays $200"

Trust me, somebody, somewhere that wants $200 bucks or whatever price you have determined, will do it gladly. With a big grin on their face having earned your business.

If that dont work, and you dont get the price you want, then I'll kiss Hank Williams dead A$$!
