I'm using article marketing (among other things) to promote my Amazon aStore. The store is a Nintendo DS store. I submitted my first article a week ago, and it's gotten a little over 100 views. The problem is only 8 people have clicked the link in my resource box. It would be great if some Warrior article marketing pros could help me improve my resource box. This is what I currently have: Visit (my website address) for all your Nintendo DS needs. Check out the current recommended game and find the best Nintendo DS top games and accessories. (Nintendo DS top games and accessories is the anchor text). Any suggestions to make it more appealing? Thanks |

8 clicks out of 100 views give you a 8% CTR which is quite standard in my opinion. My CTR is around 12% and if you are doing article marketing long enough, you will notice that CTR rises over time. All I can advise you is to churn out articles continuously rather than focus on the stats of one article. Try out different variations when it comes to resource boxes. Here's one that you can try out? Quote:

Hello Michelle, I feel that you would probably achieve better results if you focused on writing about individual games, with the resource box promoting more information about only one type of game as opposed to trying to satisfy "all" of your readers' Nintendo needs. Then have your links directed to the page containing one particular game available for purchase, along with more write-ups or whatever. I'd further advise you to experiment and observe successful article marketers for different resource box techniques. This way you can find out what works best for you. I would also recommend that you diversify so that you do not frustrate about the statistics and revenues of a slow site. |

You might want to hit it a little harder at the beginning:
The real measure of your campaign will be how many of those clicks convert. Be patient, unless you already have a sale. Even then, still be patient. You won't have a large enough statistical universe to measure until some more time passes...
