What tool will best help me

I am about to launch a product that is remarkable (doesnt everyone think their product is like that...but no seriously, this is on the level of sliced bread, the wheel, autoresponder, cms...but i digress)


I own a 1shopping cart and I know it has an affiliate module (I don't use it)...if that will work let me know.

If not, which affiliate tracker will work best?

I prefer something i can install on my server...a 3rd party hosted app is fine for now though.

Here is the scenario.

I will create a blind site - branding a process that solves a problem....people can not order from the site at all.

It will contain promo videos (most likely on a word press)

the promo videos give free information, and the last video offers a product that will provide the solution already mentioned in the previous videos.

I have several JV partners

I want every one of the jv partners to be able to send to the blind site (a simple www.nicesitename.com) without adding /affiliate or ?id=xxx etc that seems to always get lost in the shuffle.

IF my jv partners is the referrer, i want to be able to send people to a reusable sales page to get the order and the partner gets the credit.

In other words I don't want to create a bunch of sales pages, and I don't want people to lose credit if the right ID is not appended to the URL

I know there are PLENTY of things that track affiliate SALES...but because this is a process that might not lead to a direct sale, i really want to attract affiliate LEADS

also because we will be virally promoting this, I don't want jv's crossing over.

I want whoever is the first partner to INTRODUCE a prospect to the site, to be the one to get the CREDIT for an ultimate sale.

Preferably some sort of database that would do that on the backend so its not relying on cookies alone (which people are encouraged to clear regularly these days)
