Article Marketing - A Little Help Please

by Vogin
20 replies
Hi Warriors,
I'd like to ask for a piece of advice.

Let's say I stumbled upon a great affiliate offer and for the first time, I feel motivated to use all available free traffic methods - including Article Marketing.

So, here's a couple of questions about which I'm little confused:

1. Article Submitting Software
I understand that there are some pieces of software that makes uploading your articles to various directories smooth and easy. BUT - I always have to provide unique content for each article directory, true?

2. Software for Rewriting Articles
This is a question related to the previous one - in the very likely case there has to be unique content in every article directory I submit to, is there a "smarter" way (a.k.a. cheating) to rewrite my original article, like using some software?

3. Outsourcing the Whole Thing?
To think out of the box here, would it make sense to hire say 5 writers, each of them writing 5 articles and submitting them to different article directories? Possible costs from your experience, worth the effort?

Thanks in advance for all responses.

    1) Yes, that's right, there are several pieces of software that will submit articles to directories. Personally I only submit to the top 5 general directories and also use Free Traffic System as a way of building extra backlinks.

    2) Yes, there is. There's a number of article rewriters (also known as article spinning) which will re-write the articles. The problem with some of them is that they can't capture the essence of the article, due to changing words in a way that doesn't really work. One article spinner that's worked for me is Magic Article Rewriter which you can get on the Free Traffic System site.

    3) Hell yes! This is the way forward for article writing, as far as I'm concerned. There's a great service called 99centarticles.com which does a discount service for Warriors. You can get their writers to create articles and submit them to the top directories, then use Magic Article Rewriter to spin the articles (if you want, I tend to only spin a few). I've had a good experience with 99centarticles.com.

    Hope that helps.

    Vogin,

If looking for a spinner then 'The Best Spinner' really is the best I've ever used. The thesaurus is updated through all of the software users and it's also pretty quick in comparison to other spinners I've used. Def worth a look imo...

    1. You do not have to write a new article for submission in each directory. The same one will get you accepted 95% of the time. Exception sites are buzzle and articlet.com. Using an article submission software will help you submit the articles faster. But it doesn't guarantee that your articles are going to be published. If you are really serious about getting an article submission software, Article bot is good. If you want a free one, AS helper is really good if you know how to use it. Make sure that you link back to the article on your main site. Always put your article on your site first and then submit to article sites. I encourage you to submit to Ezinearticles first manually. And then use the software to submit it to other directories. 2. Using software to rewrite content isn't advisable. Because your content tends to become unreadable. There are no duplicate content penalties. Content is the same everywhere. And if you are syndicating your content, you will have higher rankings. By syndicating your content to multiple directories, you are not putting alll your eggs in one basket. For some keywords, Ezinearticles ranks higher. For some, articlesbase ranks. for some, some other directory will rank. So if you have the same article on many sites, one of them will stick and will rank. 3. Outsourcing is a good choice if you have money and a good marketing funnel in place(your autoresponder emails). You can't promote an affiliate offer via article marketing by outsourcing. It is quite difficult to turn a profit because writers are expensive. However, there is one thing you could do. Write your own articles in the beginning and after you have a strong sales funnel ready on your site. You can outsource your articles. I'd suggest that you put up an ad(incase you are in an English speaking country) in the local newspaper and recruit college students. They will be willing to work for a monthly income for a cheap rate. Your keyword research is absolutely essential if you want to succeed with article marketing. Work Smart, Tyler

Thanks for your insight man. Especially the ad idea is brilliant. Not that I'm not a student myself and I'm far from being from an English country, but it could work with a bit of luck.

AS helper is really good if you know how to use it.
A little bit comment about the AS helper

inside consisted of 85 article directory, there are about 10-14 article directory been hack by hacker of course. Some is dead, i mean you went to the site, the url is gone or not available anymore.

all the article submitter is the same auto register, auto paste...but there have not auto capcta and that one i would not complain it bcs free. Help me save 3 hours times i guest, instead going manually login, copy paste, is damm hell boring and wasting time.

Therefore, i am using 2 software article submitter which cover more than 100 site and from page rank 6-0.

warning- some article directory still not publish my article that i have been submitted for 4-5 month, so i just deleted the article directory which is useless.

    Vogin,

I have been looking for the same thing. I have had a coach that I have worked with in the past recommend these:

This is a free one that I've used in the past: articlespinner.org/

This one I tested about a year ago and had some success: www.bestarticlespinner.net/

I also tried Mass Article Creator and Mass Article Submitter. With Mass Article Creator, it spin a bunch of articles quickly, the problem was with the Niche I have been focused on (Golf) it didn't really get the gist of my articles. This caused me to have to basically go back rewrite the rewrite.

I guess it just depends on what Niche you are working and whether it will fit.

"Unique content" is very different from "original content".

And more importantly, "duplicate content" is very different from "syndicated content".

I think it may help you a lot to have a careful read through this current thread, in which some of what you're asking was discussed only yesterday.

And if longer and more detailed answers than that help further, this much longer thread from a few months ago is about the best "instruction manual" for article marketing you'll find.

Well, that's an eye-opening information. So, article directories doesn't really care if the same thing is anywhere else, they care only about me being the author / have the rights to publish it?

So I can basically take my blog post and submit it, as it is, to various article directories (other than those specifically prohibiting it).

Ok, and what about this - let's say I write 2 different versions of an article. One is on my site, used to convince people to do whatever I have in mind. The second article would I post to article directories and it would make people want to come to my site and - do whatever I have in mind.

I mean, wouldn't this be effective in terms of getting traffic AND make sales while I'm being seen as the authority, not the article directory?

Also, I'm finding troubling the concept of getting the world know I've submitted my articles here and there. Say I submit an article to 10 directories. I can't simply tweet about it 10 times, when in fact it's the very same thing?

My mistake. Article directories are not the goal - they are a tool, similar to when I submit to Digg or tweet about my new article. Right?

Damn, I've just learned more in an hour than in the last month. I need to ask Warriors more often

Now that I think about it - it makes all the sense in the world that most of the article directories realize that their contributors are busy people and don't really have the time or the nerves or the bank account to post unique content everywhere... I just thought it's the way it works.

Yes, there are semi-automated article submission tools which can speed up the submission process.

Only a few ones, most notable's Buzzle, don't accept published content being submitted by its author if it's already published elsewhere under the same author name.

If you decide to use a semi-automated article submission software, use the tool which provides the best accuracy in terms of assigning the category most relevant to your assigned one for each article.

Yes, there are a lot of content spinners in the market.

If you decide to spin, you can submit each unique version to the top article directories, each one under a dedicated author account.

For instance, you can submit version 1 to the top 5 or 10 directories using author account 1, version 2 to your top 5 or 10 directories using author account 2, version 3 to all directories in your list using author account 3, and so on until version 30 to all using author account 30.

You can initially publish all versions on your sites and blogs, of course with the resource box links changed to point to your sales or squeeze pages.

Your unique versions on the article directories can target different keywords and link to different pages of your sites and blogs if you spin them properly.

You can point those resource box links to your homepage or your other onsite content pages offering supplemental content with links pointing to your sales and squeeze pages. I'm saying this because some directories require resource box links of published articles to point to pages offering supplemental relevant information/advice.

That'll give you more backlinks, wider exposure, and a chance to get even more backlinks and wider exposure by content syndicators of these directories (people syndicating, or posting, your published articles, on their sites and blogs without changing anything, including your resource box and links).

Your articles on directories with higher domain authority than others will rank well on Google and other search engines.

Google sometimes sends the same article versions even if they're under the same author name to its supplemental list = "sometimes" because mostly Google doesn't, according to the experience of others, including my own experience.

Still, those backlinks count, even if they're sometimes sent to Google's supplemental result list after relevant searches.

If Google and other search engines decide to change their rules regarding syndicated content, you're one step ahead of them because you spun your content properly to produce still readable content and submitted them all over the place, each version under the same author name in your list of author accounts.

With unique spun versions, people will read fundamentally the same human readable content ("human readable" if you spin it correctly), but they'd think it's written by another friendly authority source of useful relevant info/advice in your business or network even if they notice the resource box links point to different pages of the same sites because each version is under a different author name, and if they see the same exact version in other places, they'd know the author's syndicating his content since it's under the same author name across the other places with the same version.

In my experience, it'll be worth the effort if your offshore writers know:

    1) statistical keyword/target market/affiliate market/market competition analysis;

    2) behavioral analysis techniques to use statistical data and recorded human behavior for getting most probable target microniche market behavior and movement so as to in turn be used for title development, content outlining, content richness formatting, writing tone/style selection and content development;

    3) 4 fundamental elements of content writing and softsell marketing writing;

    4) proper content spinning (spin each paragraph, then spin each sentence in original and spun paragraph versions, then spin at least 2 3to4-word phrases in original and spun sentence versions in original and spun paragraph versions); and

    5) online content syndication and online content marketing writing.

Well, that's what I think, from my experience and results.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Sir,

Yes, there are software to submit your articles to maximum article directories. It is not necessary to provide 100% unique content each time but if you can then it will show better results.

Article spinner also comes with most of the article submitters that will spin your articles. Spinned articles will be accepted by your article directories.

No need of hiring 5 different writers. One writer will do the needful. Cost may vary from $5 to $10.

Please ask if you have anymore questions.

    Thank You

I've tried a few things over the years and I have found that article marketing software is just not worth it. The article spinner doesn't change the article enough to make it unique. Focus on submitting articles to a handful of 5 sites, but submit totally different articles to each site and interlink similiar articles. Some sites will allow you to have several (anchor text links) and one raw URL link, but other sites will only allow one anchor tex and one raw link. Read the guidelines carefully. Interlink similar articles. For instance, use anchor text to link to one of your other similiar articles on another site, but use the RAW URL for the main site that you want people to go to and mix this around. The idea is to get traffic to all your sites right?? Well point traffic to your most vital sites or articles. I get paid page views on examiner so I use anchor text built into the body of the article to link back to those articles. I also recommend buy the 4 day money making blueprint. This course will show you exactly what to do. He does do a few things differently, but his methods are effective also.

Article Architect can submit articles to higher ranking article directories, such as: Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com, etc. While Magic Article Submitter can submit to relative low ranking article directories, but I also find it can submit articles to Articledashboard.com(the pagerank is 5).

I use magic article rewriter, it works well for me.

If you are going to outsource, you do not need the first two...

You can outsource your article distribution through companies such as mine or FastSubmitArticles.com... (some people may note that I did not mention any of another dozen article distribution companies, but I will only mention those I trust... WINK)

My service is considered by most to be too expensive, but everything is relative... If you make your money back, it is NOT too expensive... LOL

FastSubmitArticles is inexpensive and they do a good job getting your articles to the article directories...

When it comes to finding writers, there are hundreds of options...

One of the writers I trust explicitly, from the WF, is View Profile: TMG Enterprises

That is not to say that Tina is the only qualified writer... There are many available at varying prices...

Everything that you want done can be outsourced...

    Is it worth it?

    Absolutely, it can be...

There are a number of factors that will determine your success, including the ability of your website landing page to convert visitors to buyers...

But there are a large number of full-time Internet Marketers who owe their start and continuing presence online as a full-time, self-employed individual to article marketing...

From my end, 95% of my promotion since 2001 has been article marketing...

I was full-time IM between 2001 and 2002, then again starting in March of 2005 to now...

And I derive income from a number of niches that are mostly promoted through article marketing...

In my book, if you do article marketing right, it could make you the next full-time, work-from-home dad... But that is up to you!!

    Good article submit tool:

Automatic Article Submitter (AAS) is pretty decent. And then there is SubmitEdge. MAS is good though the list of article directories aren't that nice (only ArticleDashboard directories if I am not mistaken).
