Cool Little Trick To Get More Clicks From ArticlesBase

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if you all were aware of this or not, as I just found out so I figured others may not know either.

When I first started submitting articles to articlesbase.com I did the same thing as on Ezinearticles: put my article in the article box then my resource box in the author bio box. My clickthroughs were horrible though.

So I started putting my resource box at the end of my article in the actual article box (during submission). Then I just put a little about me and my site in the author bio.

This got me a lot more clickthroughs to my site since it flows with the article instead of being in that box at the bottom that no one looks at.

For any of you using articlesbase.com, hope this tip helps you out!

Good share. I've been using this little trick for a while myself. People just don't pay as much attention to that small box at the bottom of the article as you would hope. That's why you've got to get creative to get a good CTR.

It's good to know this is working for you Tyson.

I just submitted my first article last night to EzineArticles.

I cut and pasted the last few sentences from the main body into the resource box at the bottom, then reworded it to include the benefits of going to my site, that way it didn't look like the article had finished at the main body section but was part of the whole article.

What a great tip! I love the simple things that get results. It is also nice that you tracked the results before posting the suggestion.

Thanks, I actually got the same problem!
I will start putting my links at the bottom of the article rather than in the resource box.

Personally, I put the 1st link as early as I can (usually 1st or 2nd paragraph).

Then I put the 2nd link in the last paragraph.

Resource box only acts to build author credibility.

I have one article that gets 46% CTR this way.
