Dud site makes $95 in a day

The other day I had a real surprise, almost a shock, when an old site I was near to deleting brought me $95 CB commissions in one day from 2 sales. This site (in the health niche) hasn't done anything in about eight months and I had lost interest in it. Just recently I considered deleting the site and rebuilding something else in the same niche. Now this.

Has anyone else had experience of old 'dud' sites coming alive again?

    A while back I got a payment in my PayPal account for a $29.95 ebook that I had resell rights to.

    I had put up the sales page, done no promotion and after several month the sale came in. It's been several months since and no more sales.

    Nice surprises come in sometimes.

    EDIT: A Warrior posted a while back, I think it was Bryan Kumer, something to the effect that your income on the Internet is in direct relationship to how many BuyNow/PayNow buttons you have up on the web. In my case it took me all of 5 minutes to upload that page and ebook. The resell rights were negligible because I got them free. $29.95 for 5 minutes work = almost $360 an hour. Wish I had 1000 more up like that one.

    I do have some sites that only have occasional activity, but if they are at least paying for themselves (hosting and domain name), I don't have any reason to delete them.
