Making Money from a Video Gaming Site?

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to monetize a video game site or advice on how to do it more effectively.

One of my sites is in the video gaming niche. It has gotten a lot of attention and is getting about 100 unique visitors a day. The problem is it's only generating a couple of dollars a day via Adsense, which is good but nothing to get excited about.

I've tried to offer Clickbank guides for World of Warcraft as that is semi related to my audience but the visitors are 1) looking for custom made content they can download for their game and are off 2) are mostly teenagers or broke college students 3) are in an entertainment mindset. Not a buying mindset. Amazon ads aren't proving to be very effective either as most of the users will buy games directly from a local retailer.

This demographic is also very tech savvy and have developed ad blindness. My other niches are more profitable than this one so I'm wondering if I should write this site off as a loss but also have a feeling there might be more earning potential.

Anyone who's had some success in the gaming niche?

    I made over $240,000 between 2005 and 2007 just within World of Warcraft. If I knew what I know now, I would have made a couple million, easy. I was selling one of the first guides as an affiliate, and then I used that money to acquire an outsourced team of workers and offered a service.

    The demographic is also able to download guides and stuff for free, and many do now a days.

    Don't doubt powerleveling and gold. Just become an affiliate to a reputable company with brains, and pay for in-game advertising. Mark up prices for gold and power leveling by a couple dollars, and let the company do the rest of the work. I still have some amazing contacts if you want to get introduced into the RMT industry.

    Different ball game than most of this IM stuff, but same principles.

    You can earn money as an affiliate ebay, Clickbank or other, and promote or sell online video games. You can also earn money with your website. It's very easy to create a simple video site search game code with your affiliate ID of eBay, ClickBank, Google. It is very simple to work with, just install game site video research and promote site as you like article marketing or the best part is the Google AdWords program for fast results
