Webpage Title and Domain Name

Should the website title and domain name be one in the same? Would this help SEO?

Example:

Title: Interactive Guitar Lessons

interactiveguitarlessons.com

Thanks for your help

Do you really mean the page title of your home page?

Yes, in your case the home page title and domain would be
the same, and your home page would be optimized for the
same kw phrase used in your domain.

The rest of the pages in your site would be optimized for
different phrases, and the corresponding page titles would
    reflect those phrases.

With all my niche blogs I use the domain name, page title and <h1> tag, all with the same keyword for starters. If the domain name is there with the exact keyword I want, I won't get the next best thing, ill move onto a new keyword/domain combo.

Try and get the same, but if you cant, try to get a domain name that has your keyword in and add something at the end of it like (today, now, hube, etc). Dont put anything before it, you will get better results if its after your keyword
As far as seo goes, Google is not putting as much emphasis on domains as they used to but you should still get your keyword in there.
