Thanks

Hi, Kim it took 24 hrs for my analytics to read the stats in my website.

      Is it worth it?

YES! It is definitely worth it.

Wouldn't you like to know what sources of traffic are effectively working for you?

Or would you prefer to keep plugging away at ineffective traffic methods?

I didn't think so. Remember Google Analytics split these traffic sources into three types:

*Direct traffic (people typing your Domain name into a search engine)

*Refering traffic (other websites, i.e blog commenting)

*Organic traffic (search engine results from keywords)

This will NOT be up for long. Get it now whilst You still can. Btw it's FREE...

Kim, as far as I know it takes 24 hours to see any data. The data is tracked per 24 hour periods so they need a full 24 hours worth of collected data before they display anything.

Usually at least some of the data is in within the first day or two. Other information, like backlinks, can take a few weeks. What I usually see first is the number of impressions and then maybe the number of indexed pages.

    Hi Nitesh

I haven't submitted a site to Google in years and it's never hampered me yet. I like the big G to find my sites naturally, (yes I'm sad and boring).

The site in question is here www.freelinkcloaker.com its very well established anyway. I've only just taken it over to my hosting today which is why I'm refurbing with Google analytics etc.

    Cheers
    Kim

I just checked the source code for that page and don't see GA anywhere. Even used the FF search with about 20 characters out of my GA file and it wasn't there.

Maybe another cuppa coffee would help? If it is there it would be me that would be needing it
