Is this niche good for a noob?

So I am looking for some niches because I am just starting out. I am thinking about doing iPad eBooks. Is this a good niche? And what is a good way to promote products for free? I use blogger and articles right now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You have the right idea, but I would personally go for a niche that has a better payout than promoting ebooks that are going to only payout $2 per sale.

Here is a video I created yesterday to show you products to promote that pay over $100 per sale...

A niche isn't IPad ebooks. That is a delivery method. What you need to do is find a group of people who have a problem and and solve it. What do you like to do? What are your passions? What are you an expert in? Think about that, then look for people who have a problem within what you know or have a passion about, and solve that problem with either promoting someone else's product or by creating your own product like an ebook or what not.

Selling Water to A Thirsty Person is a GREAT Niche idea haha....

My piece if advice....try to get help from people you trust on a more personal level than posting it on here. I would hate for you to find a Gold Nugget only to have it taken away from you from a more experienced marketer.

Some may disagree and thats ok....

Yeah well it doesn't seem the OP even knows how to even look for a niche yet, let alone knows what one is. You first have to know what a niche market is and how to find one before you even worry about anyone stealing it. Not to mention, nobody could actually "take" the niche away from the OP. Competition is a good thing and shows that there is a paying market. This idea that we need to be secretive of whatever niche we are in is a bunch of crap.
