Does anyone know of any sample outsourcer contracts that can be used. I really need one for a call center.

Personally I don't use contracts when it comes to outsourcing.

Are you really going to go after your outsource worker for breaking a contract?

If I was using someone in the United States, then I would definitely consider it.

I cannot help you with contracts, but here are some ideas I gathered from podcasts I listen to.

First, you need to put the task in writing specifying exactly what you expect. Then attempt to make sure the VA understands the job. In the beginning this can take more time than the job requires, but if it can be used later, it will save time and money in the long run. Be careful about common words with different meanings. For example, If I want an article of interest to moms nursing babies, I will get an article about breast feeding from someone here in the US, but an Australian might write an article about how mom's can carry their babies in the mall without their arms getting tired.

The second important point that comes to mind is a stop-report. If you assign a project, give a stop-report time. Tell the VA to report his/her progress after 3 hours and estimate what it will take to complete the task, both in work and time. Then if there is a misunderstanding, you aren't paying someone for 12 hours work before finding out they were going down the wrong trail.

If you want to know more, check out the podcasts from Internet Business Mastery, and check out the book, 'The Four Hour Workweek' available at Amazon.com.

    Good luck

Thanks you for the input. I have outsourced for smaller task and for SEo work but never on the scale of a call center.

I'd check with the call center - they may have their own contract.

You know.. I would contact an experienced Call Center Manager and ask if they have one or could help you draw one up.
If you'd like.. I can give you the name of one such person. He was manager of some very large call centers and may have a lot of insight for you.

Message me if you're interested and I'll give you his contact information.
