Nothing new, but...

How often do you look for a very specific product, with the exact model-number, basically with CC already at hand...to check for the cheapest price?

What do you..what do i do?

We type the term into google, and up comes one of those big "price comparison" machines...i know a few generic ones, and a few specialized ones eg. for computers and electronics.

Those site are very known and the "de facto" location everyone goes when they look for the cheapest price.

So..the owner of those "price search engines" gets commissions for every single sale made through their site.

From all forms of online/internet marketing i think this is the most profitable...?!

    Yep. I've never gone this route before but I have no doubt that the conversions on those terms are through the roof.

    I have seen many a affiliate product done this way so no matter what product the person chooses the owner of the site wins

    I don't use these engines. There is a pretty cool new app on the G1 phone where you can scan the bar code using the camera, and then see prices for that product in nearby stores as well as online. It's pretty sweet.
