HELP! Any CRM software for Lead/List Management?

In my corporate lead-gen life we use salesforce.com to manage our customer relationships.

I recently opened up a consultancy and I'm thinking of a software I can use that would integrate via api or import/export functions with my e-mail lists and enable me to convert customer profiles based on their activity.

OH - and I'm not keen on spending a fortune.

Is there something for marketers, not enterprises that doesn't need a PhD to work?

I think Andy Jenkins is doing something similar at Kajabi.net but who knows how long that's gonna take.

It's just that I don't believe that Email Marketing 2.0 | Infusionsoft is the only service out there - there's gotta be alternatives!

Also looked at Highrise by 37 Signals - I hate the interface. It needs custom coding to work for me and, again, don't want to go there.

    Drupal, maybe?

Has hooks into SalesForce and other CRMs...and tons of email subscription management services.

It's been adopted by Nike, the White House, NASA, and many others...

I'm working on a project right now that uses Wordpress as the cms and integrates with salesforce.

What exactly do you need that Aweber, Wordpress and Salesforce won't do for you?

      Andy,

      I hear you.

Large corps generally don't trust Wordpress (historically, a personal blogging platform), nor Aweber (no decent API)...

Salesforce, on the other hand, are perfectly acceptable.

It's all about perception, I suppose.

        I hear that.

I built a site for a client using Drupal once and they had me rebuild it as a static site because the ceo didn't like CMS's - there's no accounting for other people's perceptions.

yes - corporates are really odd. They are happy to spend $100's of dollars per month for 'corporate' solutions, when they could get just what they need for 10% of that.

Drupal might be the perfect solution to this. You can do some really cool stuff with the 'services' module & a bit of python to hook into almost any other API.

What you're looking for direct_marketer is: OfficeAutopilot

It's like InfusionSoft/Sales Force. Yet better.

It has marketing sequences that permit intermixing online/offline channels, just like InfusionSoft... with SalesForce thorough customer management. Plus tracking on everything that's sent out.

It's scaled down version is at: Sendpepper - Home

    Um perhaps WORKetc?

    -Open API
    -Import/Export functions
    -custom web forms
    -email marketing campaigns w/ management
-intuitive UI/easy to learn, yet thousands of customization features
-great pricing (esp. in comparison to competition)
    -allows customer login (unlimited)
    -pipelines/reports
-sort clients/contacts by any way you'd like (groups, tagging, etc)

The difference between WORKetc and others like Salesforce is the fact that you won't have to have an assorted list of add-ons and other applications that don't integrate at all just to get the job done. WORKetc combines CRM, project management, and billing into one app. You can essentially run your entire business from this one SaaS (software as a service, web based).

When the whole application is based around the customer management portion the application work flow becomes very simple and efficient. Collaboration is easy, and its easier to work ''smarter.''

Here's a feature by feature comparison of WORKetc VS main competitors (ie Salesforce, Highrise): www . worketc . com/compare
