Will someone please help me out here?!!

I have downloaded a number of instructional videos in .swf. When I attempt to play them in VLC, I get audio ok, but no video.

Any constructive ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
Don

I havent used VLC but as a flash developer,
sounds like you're trying to play a VCR Video Tape in a DVD player...

    Go to Adobe Here >>

Download the "Standalone Flash Player (swf player)"
for Windows or MAC (whatever you're using).

Then just double click n you're playing

      Aj,

      Thanks.

I can play files with .flv extension ok but those with .swf are the problem.

On the link you gave, I guess Adobe Flash Player version 10.1 is what you referred to as "Standalone Flash Player (swf player)"?

Here's the direct download link for windows >>

There's the browser version (you dont want)
and there's a stand alone projector (click link above).

Once installed, just double click any swfs to play, or use "File" >> "Browse"
but just be aware... there will be no controls (forward, rewind, etc).

Thanks AJ. That works just fine.
The only "control" available is Rt-click to pause, but that's ok.
