Craigslist advertising
I see a lot of web design companies advertising on Craigslist.
Are they making money through this site or is it something that every company tries at the beginning and then moves on to other methods?
One small company (one local guy) has been posting ads three times a day, every day for almost a year. I don't think they would do this if they were not getting good results. And it is surprising since their work is not very professional.
I expect most CL visitors are looking for a bargain and you have to tailor your offer to this type of market. So is Craigslist good for selling local services like web design?
