I had to leave the "War Room"

It's been a while since I've spent any time in the "War Room". Don't ask why... I've just been trolling around on the outside.

Today I had a bit of spare time so I took the opportunity. "OMG" after two hours of downloading I had to leave... my head was spinning with new ideas and I was absolutely ready to go into weeks of unfocused mayhem "I'm an Info Junkie" .

If you're not a member of the War Room, I'm saying it is a good time to join. In those two hours I'm sure I pulled over a $1,000 worth of downloads. Including software, WP Plug-Ins, a real cool research program and about 15 Free WSO type e-books. "Barely got past the fold" (top of the first page).

If I'm smart I'll just throw all of this in the recycle bin, LOL. I see many sleepless nights coming and just pray to keep focused on my current projects. It will be a while before I can go back to the "War Room"

It depends on what you are looking for.

If you have the money, it is a good deal. It is smaller than the regular foum, so maybe if you needed a particular piece of information you could find it quicker.

And the postings are pretty good too.

    Well, real good, actually.

Serious... the info ebbs and flows but this visit gave me a ton of new info. This is the same stuff you pay $7 to $97 for in the classifieds and WSO section.

Many of the Warriors offer free downloads of their products to the "War Room" before they start selling. It's a great way for them to get feedback and for the other "War Room" members to benefit through these "Gifts" .

I don't know what the current "War Room" price is $37?, maybe? One time fee. IMHO its worth 10 times that.

You may or may not find this info around the forum, but I can assure you it would take 6 months of digging about to find what I got in 2 hours, and you would no doubt have to pay for the good stuff piece by piece. - Winlin

I've never looked inside the War Room before, but have read a lot about it.

The only reason I haven't joined myself yet (despite being a member of these forum for some time now and struggling to resist the urge to click the "buy" button each time I login) is for exactly the reason you mentioned. I'm the sort of person who gets distracted quite easily as it is, so until I've begun to outsource the biggest portion of my current workflow, I don't wish to take the risk of getting sidetracked

If your clicking the buy button on anything here at the forum, you may as well click this one and be done with it. I'll see you at the "Info Junkie Anonymous" Meetings. - winlin

Hi DireStraits, you say you never looked into the War Room. Well, if you tried, you would find out you don't have access. It's the only part of the WF that is a paid membership. That's why you don't know what you're missing. And $37 is the price I paid, back in October 2009, IIRC. A one-time fee. No, wrong, they say it's good for 20 years. Well, you can't have the butter and the money you payed for it.

IMO, that's actually the best (and only valid) reason to NOT join. Good for you for not wanting to get sidetracked. Stick to your plan.

      HOWEVER...

Allen's material in his "My Ideas, Strategies, & Plans" sub forum are worth many many times the cost of joining the War Room. You can just read his stuff and nobody else's, and never download a single product and the War Room will still be an ABSOLUTE STEAL!

You could probably find everything that is in the War Room right here in this section, but it would take 10 years of going through every thread and post.

The thing with the War Room is that topics are pre-moderated, so that at least the first post has value contained within, whether it be a blogging trick, traffic workaround, search or niche research...flipping sites, downloads, full WSOs before they go live (to get feedback) and many other goodies too numerous to mention. Add to that the massively increased PM capabilities and blogging ability...

I found a topic a while ago that is worth a 1000 memberships if utilised correctly.

    Hey Guys,

I feel I should harp this out here. People are giving away there $27-$97, and small $7 products in the War Room. It's like a FREE version of the WSO Forum. It's crazy - I've learned a ton off the war room. Plus, if you've ever considered doing a WSO - You need to be a member of it. I'm glad I joined the war room...

I cant stay there either. its like a kid in a FREE CANDY store... honestly i'll bet alot of these people think we are using cliche salesy words... but the truth is it really is a cloud nine kind of experience. Its like a free day in the wso forum or something.

Too many goodies... I stay away so I can keep my head in the sand and not get distracted by all the great stuff... it's very literally overwhelming to think of all you have access to in there.

Warning though: Once you join the ball is in your court. No excuse for failure except lack of action.

I just joined a week ago, saw a few nice things there. Haven't looked in detail. I still don't get it though - people have been hyping the war room for ages, well as far as I've been here, which isn't long.

i'm going to go back and look some more. i will say, more times I go, more it becomes "addicting."

You're being distracted out here instead of inside, the real difference is that you're being distracted by more noise here. Each War Room thread has to be approved by a mod before it goes live. The result -- a lot less noise and lot more valuable information.

War Room is unquestionably the best part of this site. Like Caleb said, the members literally give away hundreds of dollars in free products.

Just last week I downloaded software that cost around $50 as a wso.

The War Room is really great. I have created my first thread there just a few days ago, but I do intend to share more stuff there. There are other Warriors who are always sharing reports, video series and softwares there, so if you need some fresh ideas that's definetely the place where you want to be.

Also, forced opt-in is not allowed in the War Room anymore, so study really is 100% free, not even an email is required.

The only negative point would be information overload. Yes, I think it can be a problem, since focus is essential to make serious money online. However, if you think that you can keep yourself under control and do not start implementing a new method every single day I believe that those 35 bucks (it still costs $35, right?) will be the best investment of your IM life.

Hahahhahahaha I feel so superior with the "War Room Member" thing under my username

Some of you need to stop being so tight with your money and INVEST in something so you can start taking action.

If you can't shell out $40 for the most valuable resource you will ever get, then good luck on getting ripped off here and there for stuff you can get for free anyway. And how do you expect to make any money without even wanting to pay for basic things like web hosting and an autoresponder which will run you about $30 a month anyway.

Get real about marketing and start to treat online marketing as a REAL BUSINESS instead of a hobby, something on the side, or a possibility.

And like some others mentioned, I don't recommend spending too much time in there due to the possibility of head explosion.

To be honest the only reason I havent joined the War Room is... God, I dont know. Maybe I thought I could get the info here. But why are people (me included) prepared to devote weeks and weeks of their lives trying new ideas, setting up blogs etc, to make a fast buck, but they wont spend $40 for War Room membership.

If that $40 saved you just one day of wasted effort over the course of a year then isnt it worth it!

the war room is the equivalent of the library of congress for SERIOUS internet marketers. all threads have to provide value (which they do)

you may be able to find that info out here or online somewhere but i venture to guess that it'd take years. not to mention the fact that some stuff that's shared is only shared there. i feel like i'm a member of a private secret society of people with the knowledge and skills to print money. the thing is, i dont go in there too often as i've gotten 5 new ideas to push my business. i've gotta get those implemented before i go back in there. once those ideas are fully implemented i can assure you that i'll be a full time internet marketer within 6 months.
