Google Announces they will be down for FIVE YEARS
Thought Warriors in particular would get a kick out of this.
I did a double take in my adwords account (use it for testing keywords since the keyword tool is so dodgy) when I read in the announcements
"On January 1, 2005, AdWords system will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 AM to January 1, 2015 3:00 AM Eastern Time due to system maintenance. Please note that your campaigns will continue to run normally during this short downtime. We apologize for any inconvenience."
Checked my system clock and adjusted my reading glasses and the message was there alright. Didn't know adwords had been down for five years (but wouldn't be surprised since I go with real SEO)
Seems I am not the only one who saw it

Anyway five more years and some of you guys might start geting traffic on new campaigns
. Meanwhile maybe there will be some openings at Odesk for google proofreaders. Seems like a few billion dollars doesn't get you a good proof reader these days.
