Article Marketing is working, I hope...

Hi guys and gals,

I'm a relatively new member to the forum and find it very enlightening. My thanks to all the great people on here who share your ideas.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've gotten interested in marketing my T1 affiliate website after a couple years of doing nothing with it. I used to do Google Adwords and it seemed pretty good for awhile. I was getting some traffic and even made a few sales but either it lost it's effectiveness or I just wasn't very good at it.

About two months ago, I got some ghost writers to write some T1 articles for me. Only about half of them were good enough to put my name on them but they only cost me about $6 each, so I can live with that. I think I finally found a writer who is up to par. I just had to go through a few writers to find one that understood what I wanted.

Last week my website was very hard to find on Google. I couldn't even find it using the exact keywords in my website "Instant T1 Prices". Today it is number one. It is also on page number 2 for "T1 prices" and page 3 for "cheap T1 services".

The articles probably helped, but maybe having a link from the Warrior Forums helped a lot, too. I'm not sure. I'm just glad to see some progress.

Again, thanks to all the Warriors who share openly with amateurs like me.

Keep on sharing your advise and expertise. I'm here to learn.

My article that went live today on Ezine Articles has already produced a lead for me. Someone read the article went to my website and filled out the quote form. That was quick.

    Article marketing is great.

I agree... article marketing rocks! That's how I (and many others here) made their first serious income online. For many people article marketing can be life changing. Plus the fundamentals you learn in article marketing can be applied to many other areas of IM.

      Keep up the good work!

      To your success,
      Matt

    Article Marketing is a BEAST!

Allow me to explain, this will be short....

You can turn off PPC(paper click), Forum Marketing; get sand boxed by Google but no one can stop the viral effect of Article marketing. A good article can stick for years and build priceless backlinks, which can keep the traffic trickling in for a long time.

When I write Articles I usually do a couple things to improve CTR(Click Through Rate).

*Article should be no more than 400 words
*Title should be keyword friendly (for SEO)
*Body of article should be 1-3% Keyword density (keyword should be mention once for every 100 words)
*Every paragraph should end in a question mark (?- increases CTR, your main objective is to get the readers eye down to your resource box. This is where you put your linkback to your website, blog or squeeze page.

Mani, I like the question idea!

I added some tracking links recently to an article that i had submitted by www.4submission.com (for only 6 bux to over 300 directories) and I was blown away by the number of clicks after only a few days (and 4submission says it actually takes 3 to 5 weeks to get fully indexed in all directories). Article marketing is great for new sites that have zero traffic because it is cheap (even free at times) and effective. Plus it gives you something to work on.

Coby! Thanks for mentioning it. 4submissions is great but you can actually submit to top 40 social media site directories for free; funny thing is i'v got brain freeze right now and can't remember the name of the site Wire.... Something. When I remember I'll try and get back to you.

Do most article submitters allow you to put in an affiliate link either int the article itself (as an anchor link) or in the resource box?

I want to submit some articles im using to promote a click bank item but want to change them up from ones that do not allow affiliate links to ones that do

A lot of the article promote affiliate links but I would always redirect the link back to a website or a landing page. Try goarticles.

I'm submitting my article in 30 article directories per day including the top article directories. Although, I just saw the good result when I reach the 2 months upon submitting my articles. And sometimes it's hard to deal this process since they usually reject your submission. So be patient and do the right process.

      Hi mcampbell075,
Do you submit the article to all 30 directories simultaneously or do you wait for it to be approved by Eza and submit to the rest?
The reason I am asking is if the article is search engine listed on other sites Eaz will not publish it as it will be duplicate content.

      Thanks

    Attention All

I'v just been PM'd by a 6 figure guru who's name I will not mention because I'm not here to start a war but to share & help.

However this person has been pissed off by a statement I made.

Allow me to become more clear.....

I said "Article should be no more than 400 words"

This statement was made in regards to CTR(Click through Rate)

If you want to write a 900 word article and post in on EZN articles then that's fine.

    I have nothing against that

However why are you writing an article about whatever niche your in?

What is the sole purpose of writing that article?

Answer: to get your link in your resource box clicked. Right?

So if your going through the trouble to create and article for this purpose why not increase the chances of getting this link clicked by keeping the number of word to a minimum but enough to convey your point across.

Guys having your article over 400 words Will Reduce Your CTR, period!

I can lie to you; someone else can lie to you but numbers don't lie!

      Hey Manie,

Your reasoning sounds valid to me. Of course, I'm no guru. I have a full-time job and only do this as a hobby.

It just makes me feel good to see a little bit of progress, however tiny it may be.

This is why I like the Warrior Forum so much. Ideas get bounced around. People learn from others.

Some things work and some things don't. Such is life.

Can you explain to me and others who may be reading what 4submission and OnlyWire are all about? I gather from what was already mentioned that 4submission has some kind of fee and OnlyWire is free.

Are these services that you recommend?

          Are they worth the effort?

Have you had success using them?

Hi, OnlyWire and 4submission are great tools. They can help you save time when submitting your articles.

Social bookmarking is a way for you to annouch your article to the World Wide Web. It can be hard work if you do it manually.

I'm more familiar with Onlywire and so I will recommend that.

Onlywire is free but theirs a little catch. Everytime you submit your article where it is seen, Onlywire will advertise with the article. However if you pay a samll fee (I think it is $1.80) your article will come ad free.

Another thing I just thought about. Maybe this will help some new people.

One other time I started a thread to ask a question and I used the title "New member seeks advice" or something similar.

I didn't get many responses to that question and now I think I know why.

I should have been more descriptive in my title so that people could find my post by keyword.

This time I used Article Marketing in my title which helped people know what this thread was about.

At least that is my theory.
