I am in the process of setting up another membership site for my business. i sell online products Video Audio and E-books.
My question is relating to the videos.
Lets say I have a set of 10 videos should i offer them to customers to streem , or download, and if the answer is download, is it always best to zip them.

If you can, it's best to Stream and include an optional download link for each Video - makes things simpler for them, and it should definitely be in a zip file.

In my opinion you should offer both the above methods. I would recommend compressing or zipping the files, but again using two methods or systems if you have a long, or several videos. The first is a single zipped download of all of your files, the second, 'bite size' chunks of a very large video, or individual zip files for each of the individual videos. You can include ancilliary files such as instructions in a separate zip file.

I hope that I'm making sense here!

Just my thoughts and best of luck,

        Jeff.

          Jeff thank you.
I have for example 10 videos in one series, in total about 30 minutes in length ( not one but total time) /.... would you suggest any particular software to zip them or just a regular zip file .... also a question that will head in adiffernet direction .... I am in the process of putting together a number of squeeze and sales pages that I will host myself .. to sell some of my online products ( media training) ... is it difficult to optumize them using key words so they have a better chance of poping up

I would only do streaming. If they download the movies they can just up and quit or more likely download it all and then try to get a refund. The way I see it, the videos are for your members, not your ex-members. Streaming makes it harder (though not impossible) for people to download & run.
