Article submitter software

Hello

I am floundering around in the sea of article submission.

I tried Article Submitter 4.0 but the article directory is full of dead sites, and I mean full, I think about 50% of the sites listed have some problem with them, which makes using the app a no goer from the start.

I found out how to delete directories, but it has to be done by hand and threatened to use up days of time.

Also I tried using another "clean" directory, but it was also full of dead sites.

I have two questions, does anyone know of an article submitter software that allows you to add new directories.

My second question is a bit oblique, and is not helped by my not really knowing how to express it technically.

With Article Submitter you can edit the file which contains a list of all the directories.

But how does one obtain the sort of code that is used in this directory file.

This is an example of the type of code I mean, where can I find this type of code?

Richard, this is a common problem with most article submission software... It is accurate when they release it, but the article directory landscape changes almost daily...

What was live one year ago is no where near the reality of what is live today...

Even among the article directory sites that are live now, the smaller percentage of those are actually approving articles daily... A lot of new article directory owners quit their directories within just a few short weeks of launch...

As to that bit of code you threw into your post, that is XML, which you can build yourself, if that is the structure of your data file for the software.

      Hello again

Thank you patadeperro, I will try your reccomendation.

tpr. So this is XML code, I was wondering where I could obtain such code about each clean article directory, and reconstructing the data file.

Where does the code originate? Do the creators of the software write this XML code when making the app?

To have to build such code for each clean site myself would take me eons. The code I showed you was one of the shortest pieces of code, some of them run for several pages.

I have this dream of putting things on auto pilot and it working.

      Regards

      Richard

I imagine the creators of the software paid someone to develop the XML List for them...

It is important that each article directory is broke down in the same format they have it in the current file...

    The important information is this:

The User information is the data you set up in your personal profile in the software.

Title, Link and Description should be self-explained.

The Categories field should show all of the categories the site provides in its drop-down menu.

Pertinent to your understanding is the PubDate field, which shows you when the information was compiled.

To reassemble the list, you need to confirm what info in the software is still valid, then figure out what sites are new to the internet and compile the info for those sites into this format.

The first part is easy... You can find the dead sites and delete them from the list...

The second part is more time consuming... You have to figure out what sites are operational and not on your list and compile the info in this format...

You can pray that the original designer has an up-to-date directory file available at his website... But prayer often fails to deliver in this industry...

I am going to continue playing around with my copy of article submitter.

In the data file, all the code sort of blends into one continous scroll down of code, no breaks in it anywhere to suggest the start and finish of each directory, plus there are 436 directories to go through.

Not just too much work to go through, but isolating each directory within the data file would drive me insane, and Ime too close to that allready.

      Thank you for your help.

      Regards

Richard. You can open the file in Notepad or preferably an application like UltraEdit32, and you can do a Search, looking for <item as that will indicate the beginning of each new record.

Yes it will take time, but any time-saving devices such as this will enable you to do more in less time.

There's a WSO where you can buy a great article submitter. I tried out the 7 day free trial and it works great. I am also thinking about getting the proper one. I think it is called article marketing bot or something.

I am currently using article submit auto and I must say I am very surprised at just how well it works. I have tried a ton of submitters and all were utter failures. But this one works and it works great. It submits to the top directories and it is updated like once a month. So if a site is no longer working, they delete it and replace it with one that does.

They also have excellent customer support. Every time i have a problem they respond with the quickness.
