When To Launch?

Hi Warriors,

I've launched products before but never really considered a specific time. Is there such thing as a "best time to launch." Like a specific month, date, time of day?

I would imagine mid-week, non-holiday, evening. Avoid Thursday and the weekend. Monday is iffy. Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday are my choices.

I would also like to know.

This will depend largely upon the product. If the product is a seasonal item, then obviously the corresponding time of year would be best. Otherwise business related products are best launched during the weekday to assure as many people see it as possible.

If you have a good product and a hungry market the launch day really shouldn't matter to much.

Evening ??

I would vote for afternoon or NOON ... but I am curious to hear the evening theory ... I am about to launch a product on a wed ... so would be nice to hear from others what they think.

Well I figured that more people would be at home during the evening. I guess a lot of people out there have access to the internet during work hours with their work computers and cellphones. Noon does sound good, people are on lunch...

To answer your question, you will need to consider your primary target audience and when THEY will be most receptive to your offer.

Take some of the recent "huge" launches in the industry and see their schedule... Just an idea.

I took a look at what I had in my inbox, as I tend to get a lot of offers. Ryan Deiss latest launch was at 2 or 3 PM eastern on a Thursday. It seems to me that 2 to 3 eastern time would be a good time. If you are targeting a north American campaign, this gives some opportunities for people in all time zones to have a good chance to access the offer. As for day...hmmm. I guess some testing will be in order.

Rasmussen Launched on a Tuesday and Made first place in Click Bank

Cheney Launched on a Thursday with a $1997 Product and Sold out over the week end.

I have been involved with a lot of launches and these seem to be the days. BUT at The End Of the Day.....it does not matter unless you have all your "I's" dotted and "T's" crossed. A successful launch takes A LOT OF WORK!

Can you tell me the name of the product for Rasmussen?

I want to take a look at what kind of a product is it
that can make it to the first place in Clickbank so quick.

Because I am about to launch the product in my WSO on Clickbank.

It depends on your market.

In my own market, I have discovered it is the best
to launch on Thursday, evening after work.

However, in the Money Making market here,
I have observed that most big launches took
place on Tuesday 12:00 pm EST.
