I haven't got that one specifically, but I have been getting a LOT more spam lately... and some of it is a little too targeted to be random...

i wonder if somebody's list got jacked, rented or sold??

same thing has been happening to my partner Phil too - and we're on a lot of the same lists... and we're getting a lot of the same spam messages... hmmmmmm...

Bingo! This more than anything is what concerns me,as this email came to the account I use when I actually purchase something. (Sorry folks, I admit it,when you give me a freebie for signing up, you get my junk email account).

The next few days will be interesting to see if I get any more and if so, how much.

The fact that the writer claims he will show you "proof" that he has the course before taking your payment, makes me think he will just take your money and scarper! There are no courses.

This has been going on since the day digital products are born. So no worries about it ...

Even in some blackhat forums/sites, you can see these pirated stuff floatng around. Information is the most affected by this piracy.

Sellers should protect their products by presenting copyrights, protecting ebooks, password protections, cloacking the html or whatever it takes. Atleast tryng to do so is not a big deal!

Definately spam. It's a shame that guys like these make us all look bad as internet marketers. And the best thing is, loads of people will actually take this guy up on that offer. It will probably just be a scam. What is the chance that the guy got all the download pages of all those products? Dont think so...

Never trust a guy who sinks so low...

    Another day, another pirate.

Ask him to pay via PP. Once you have his PP address, send the information along to PP. I'd imagine they'd like to know about a pirate using their service.

    Cheers,
    Becky

Scams will always abound. Unfortunately it is part of the darker side of human nature. The sad thing is many people will take him up on his offer (there is a reason Spam still exists - it works well enough that the people doing it are profitable).

It is very hard to prevent it. Physical products can be copied or ripped. Membership sites without downloadable material is probably the best way but you have to have systems in place to prevent duplicate log ins and sharing passwords.

It emails like these why I only subscribe to 1 or 2 IM list.

I subscribe to plenty of emails based on other people adswap - and have seen similar looking emails.

If it's too good to be true, it is!
