Rapid Action Profits PayPal Problems?

I have about a dozen Clickbank products and I am considering leaving Clickbank and using the Rapid Action Profits script.

My main concern about switching to RAP is PayPal tripping about refund rates. Has anyone had any problems with this? I don't want to get my PayPal account banned or limited or have my money frozen because of the volume of refund requests associated with selling digital goods.

I am making sales in the 5 figure a month range and therefore with higher sales volume of course have an increase in the number of refunds.

Has anyone that uses the RAP script or takes payments directly through Paypal encountered this problem?

Perhaps Sid Hale will weigh in on your question...

The primary thing I would advise, as a longtime Rapid Action Profits user, to better prevent refunds, and/or the increase of them therein, is to be sure what you are selling is, or does, what you represent it to be, or do.

Without knowing what your clickbank sales' payment processes were/are for your various products, I'm guessing you are aware that Paypal is a payment option, and as such you may, or may not, already have had enough refunds for Paypal to be aware of the quality of your offerings. That being said, porting/transferring your offerings to the RAP platform should NOT be an issue.

Additionally, as affiliates of various RAP script's user's implementations are paid instantly for their referred sales, most users require those affiliates who are credited with sales to refund, when necessary, those particular sales, so YOUR refund rate would possibly not be all of the possible refunds.

Again, I will suggest ensuring your offerings are presented to potential customers in such a way that they deliver on what you promise...

    Be Well!

P.S. To answer your question, I have NOT had an issue with Paypal over excessive refunds...

When your product is on Clickbank you can except PayPal, but it is not your Paypal account. It is Clickbanks and then Clickbank pays you by check or direct deposit, so your PayPal account is not at risk.

I don't believe that I have an excessively high refund rate compared to your average digital product. I just know that my Clickbank products have higher refund rates than the average physical product. I think digital products will have higher refund rates than physical products no matter how good the digital product is... or maybe I'm alone in thinking that.

I used to be a Powerseller on Ebay and I just know that once in a blue moon when there would be an issue with PayPal, it could turn into a pretty big pain.

I may or may not switch my existing Clickbank products to RAP becuase I already have my existing affiliates in place, but I do have 3 products ready to go right now and I'm about to start pushing out more and I was just looking at my alternatives and RAP seemed to fit my needs the best except for the possible PayPay issues.

In general pay pal works well but, they are quite capable of freezing your account at the drop of a hat..

You might want to set up an alternative or second pay pal account just in case..

I want to say that i do think Clickbank is a great service that can get you a lot of exposure with affiliates.

Some of the benefits that the RAP system has over Clickbank are:

          1. Can sell products for any price from the start.
          2. Don't have to go through the bs of waiting to get 5 different credit card sales before you get your first check and then 2 checks that you only get every other week in a 60 day period before you can start getting direct deposit. With RAP you get paid instantly.
          3. Don't have to wait for product approval.
          4. Don't have to pay the $49.95/29.95 fee for every product.
          5. Don't have to have the restrictions of product type/what you say on your sales page that Clickbank puts on you.
          6. Affiliates get paid instantly.
          7. Able to view all product stats in a single location instead of logging into multiple Clickbank accounts.
          8. Don't have to pay all of the Clickbank fees for every sale.

The main 2 benefits of Clickbank for me is just that I know I will get a decent amount of affiliates no matter what, even if the majority of them don't know what they are doing they still get your name out there in the search engines so that when people look your product up they see a ton of great info about it.

          and...

They handle all of the payment processing and affiliates. Once you get through all the red tape and get to where you are getting weekly direct deposits it's pretty nice.

Why not use both. It looks like your reasons for using RAP above have convinced you about using, so go for it.

There are a lot of people using RAP that have had no issues with them, but you need to be aware of their TOS and if you have any questions about using them, then call them. I do.

Maybe this will help where using PayPal is concerned:
