How to make user feel secure about their data?

Hi Warriors,

I have developed something interesting for wordpress users.

It can perform a lot of tasks in just a minute, automatically. It includes
-wordpress installation
-configuration
-theme installation
-plugin installation n configuration

You can check it at Wordpressinstaller.net.

It's useful without doubt and many users have signed up in last few days.

Now the main issue is, some people are discussing on other forums that they liked the tool but they don't find it comfortable in providing me their cPanel details.

Is there any certificaton/seal or something like that which can make them trust on me (this tool)? (I am installing SSL in a day, but that would make only transmission secure, I want them to trust that their data is secure in my database).

All passwords are encrypted with 64bit encryption before storing in database. But the thing is, how to gain trust?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Mihir

Are you actually storing user cPanel info in a database? If so, they have a right to be uneasy.

I know HostGator recently rolled out their own QuickInstall software that lets you install WP and is updated faster then Fantastico.

You may consider marketing this software to web hosts.

I understand that but I store that information as I provide blog management features like upgrading their wordpress core and plugins in one click.

If their server is not running with suphp, wordpress will ask for ftp details that's why I am storing information encrypted.

However, I will add an option to exclude storing password if they do not want to use other post installation blog management features.

Thing is, some people are uneasy in entering their cPanel login details for installation, even if I don't store it.

Regarding selling it to webhosts, that might not be possible as this tool is coded in .net which can run on windows server only so hosting company can't integrate this with cPanel.
