Internet Marketing With Facebook or Websites? Your Comments Please
Can I ask this question please?
If there was a WSO called " How to build your list with Facebook " or " How to make Money Using the Power of Facebook" - Would you buy it for lets say $9.99?
I attended a 2 webinars last week. On this subject and both served to re-enforce my belief that Facebook is the way forward.
For those of us that use Facebook regularly for socialising, it is easier to understand how this FREE viral phenomenon can build our lists and ultimately our fortunes.
Every time you post something on your wall it goes to the Newsfeed of everyone on your friends list and if THEY click on the 'Like button' it goes to the newsfeed of everyone on THEIR friend list and so forth.
Facebook Groups and FanPages work on the same principle as your normal personal page. But there are few differences between the two. In a nutshell , Groups are used as a meeting place for people with a common interest or cause. They have a maximum allowance of 5000 friends. Any one who joins your group can be emailed directly, thus it is ideal for list building. But this only works if you build a relationship with your Group. I have looked at many Groups on Facebook and a vast majority are full of people posting affiliate links with no real help or advise for people at all.
FanPages (or Pages ) as they are actually called are designed for Business, Bands etc.
But the question for most of us (especially those who don't use Facebook at all at the moment) is:-
How do we get started with Marketing on Facebook? How do we build up a 'Friends Base' to market to?
So I'll ask the question again - If there was a WSO for " How to build your list with Facebook " or " How to make Money Using the Power of Facebook" - Would you buy it for lets say $9.99?
Having done quite a bit of research into this lately I have come to realise that NOT being on Facebook is an error of omission and it will cost me NOT to do it.

- We all know that there are now 500,000,000 users on Facebook and that Facebook have overtaken Google.
- We all know that if Facebook was a country it would be the 3rd biggest in the world.
- Facebooking is the No.1 on line activity.
- 700 Billion minutes per month are spent on Facebook and 55% of users are online at any given time.
- Global companies such as Toyota are now using Facebook Pages to market themselves.

- FanPages are indexed by Search Engines ( Groups are not ).
- A FanPage is more likely to appear in a search result than a website.
- You can have a 'Pay Now' Button and an Opt in Form on a FanPage
