Wordpress "Multiple Blogs" Question

I'm new here. I hope this is the right place to post this.

I just set up my first MU blog. (What a pain!)

I think I've figured out how do set up additional domains but I'm not sure. Plus, my main question is, can the different blogs have different IPs or do they all inherit the IP of the Super Admin?

I really want all my blogs to have different IPs.

My secondary question is that if I want my blogs to have a "www" infront of the domain how do I do that?!

I don't know about the IP question but to change your domains to www in Wordpress you simply go to Settings --> General in your Wordpress dashboard and type the 'www' in the Site Address and Wordpress Address fields.

Then you shouldn't use WP multisite.

That's a nonsense wish, no need for www in a URL, but you can do what was said above.
Don't forget to do the changes in G. webmsater tools, too! Otherwise the big G. will index the www and no-www versions as TWO different sites.
Honestly, why do you need to mess with that?

After you log into your WordPress dashboard,
click on "General" (under the "Settings" section on
the lefthand column, near the bottom of the screen)

Under "General Settings", look for the box
    beside "Blog address (URL)"
and make sure the address there looks like
    http://www.example.com

If people try to visit http://example.com, WordPress
will automatically redirect them to http://www.example.com

    I hope that helps...

    Kind regards,

Yeah, it's no problem to have different IP's for each domain name. However, it's not something that you control within Wordpress. You'd use Plesk, or Webmin, or whatever is used to administer your server to assign IP's to domains.

But as far as Wordpress and different IP's per domain, well Wordpress isn't concerned with it.
