Is being listed in the Yahoo Directory worth the $299 annual review fee? For those that have gotten their website listed in the directory, did you see any huge benefits in terms of SEO and/or traffic?

There is alot better ways to spend $299 in my opinion.. I stopped submitting my url's to search engines 8 years ago and has not effected me at all.. Fact is as soon as I make a site live google, live search, yahoo, and a few others are all over it with their spiders.

If you know nothing about SEO then maybe spend the $299 on a SEO expert.. That would benefit you alot better than just giving your money to yahoo..

    Just my opinion anyways...

I also think $299 is overpriced. Yahoo should abandon their human edited directory altogether.
