First sale come in after months of hard work

Hi

I started a thread week ago complaining not making a dime. But all of a sudden the sales started to roll in without my expectation. I am getting sooooo excited!!! Because I never think anyone would want to buy from me and the financial problem did not stop me from making money. You guys can see my last thread here Why I didn't make a dime?

I know it is not much for some of you guys. But it is my first success and I am making more than I expected.

Now I really have no idea of how the sales come in. I promote my sites like crazy, I do article marketing (I hate AM), adwords, blogging, craiglist and ad classification. I really do not know where my customers came from. I don't think they come from my list because it is a totally different product I am promoting. Don't ask me how I did it. IM is still a totally mysterious subject for me. But I keep doing what I do regularly. My advice for those who isn't making a dime is to keep doing what you are doing and never stop, so one day you will see sale come in unexpectedly.

Tip: To know where people are coming from, you need to add a tid to your clickbank hoplinks.

Congratulations!

It feels like a rush of adrenaline, doesn't it. We can have thousands of sales, all are exciting. But the first sale notification that sits in our email inbox makes us say... "THANK YOU LORD, Thank YOU"

At least that was my reaction to it. After 19-20 months of struggle, I had made my first sale a few months back.

Just remember, if you can track where the sale is coming from, you can focus on doing more of that marketing as you are obviously better at it.

And tracking does not have to be as difficult as it might seem to be. Its just an email away. Send a personal email to your customer and ask them. Of course they will be blown off by your gesture and become a fan for life.

You definitely need to start tracking where your sales are coming from. This way you focus on what is actually making you money and dump what is not.

You'll need a tracking script for tracking where are the sales coming from. It also helps you identify where you are losing time and money...

Some nice ones are avaiable... just look around.

Maybe you should add a field in the signup form you have for members to specify where they heard about your site...

Hi Alex

When you get your Clickbank hoplink for the products you are promoting you can add your own unique tracking code on the end of it:

i.e. http://xxxxxxxxxx.clickbank.com/alex1, http://xxxxxxxxxx.clickbank.com/alex2 etc.

You could also consider adding google analytics, statcounter or something similar to your pages to analyse all your important information about where your visitors are coming from.
