Anything else? This book is not good rated at all on amazon, it published in 2004, this information is the book. This world is changing and wanna get some fresh information, old methods of hard-selling working well, but they are not for friendship making, which is important. For me. Also information is good in e-book or/and video course. Thx

It is a good book. It won't explain everything about list building but will give you good tips on what to write in your emails which is very important. It's not out dated by any means. I think the ratings on amazon are from people who don't realize what copywriting really is. This is a copywriting book but does give great information about writing emails.

I found Jim Cockrum's "List Building Class" very helpful, it is a series of video tutorials including list building techniques and how to put your messages together to get them read and get your links clicked.

    Highly recommended!

Check it out at listbuildingclass.com (NOT an affiliate link)

Hey, I'd recommend David Eisner's WSO email marketing revolution. He has become a friend of mine and the guy knows his stuff. He teaches you how to write your emails for maximum impact. Great book to have in your library.

Ben Settle has a course on this for $795 (affiliate link for Michael Senoff, who sent the top email linking this product in my inbox search):

Michael Senoff also sells a smaller variety of Ben's email advice for $47:

If you want to spend a whole hell of a lot less, Chris Pirillo's Poor Richard's E-mail Publishing is still a go-to guide for long-term list management even now that it's out of print:

    Amazon.com: Poor Richard's E-mail Publishing...Amazon.com: Poor Richard's E-mail Publishing...
I found Maria Veloso's book, shall we say, less than helpful. Patronising and arrogant might be a better description of it. Maria seems to be a poster child for "you don't actually have to know what you're talking about to write a book."
