Can anyone help me with a question about setting up Google Analytics

Hi

I have an account with Google in my own name and I am in the process of creating a new account for Google analytics for a wordpress blog that's in a pen name.

Do I register the site under my real name or pen name?

Do I share my analytics data with other Google products only, anonymously with Google and others (both are already checked) or both.

I would imagine it to be both but thought I'd check here first.

The other option is to not share it.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Mary,

    It doesn't really matter in my opinion. Analytics is just for you to see
    the stats of your site. It doesn't really matter if you use your pen name
    or real name.

    If you have 50 sites, would you have 50 Google Analytics accounts or
    just use one to access all 50 stats? ;D

    Just use 1 account for any or all of your sites that you use Analytics to
    track.

    Like the other poster said, it doesn't really matter because no one is going to see it. You might as well use your real name or company name.

    Sharing your data is up to you. Some choose to not share any data at all, but if you're using Adwords or Adsense, it makes sense to share data with other Google products at the least.
