How Much Would You Be Willing To Pay For an SEO Training Course?

Hi Warriors,
My friend is setting up an online training course to SEO and trying to get some feedback. I am curious but how much would this be worth to you (how much would you be willing to pay) for an online training course like this considering its coming from a very experienced one?

For example:

One time fee of x amount?

Monthly updates: how much?

Also, what are the 3 most important things to you if you would buy something like this?

Please be honest about your answers..

Thanks a million for your help in this...
Chloe

personally I wont pay for something that i freely available on YouTube. You will need to make sure that the product and content is worth charging for - YouTube is free and has tons of resources available to users there

You need to find and establish the USP (Unique Selling Position) of the product to make it sellable

The price for online SEO training may vary as there are many professionals and experts who charges the amount according to what they know.

Few things I would like to know before starting the training:

      1. Level of training; either basic or professional.
      2. Reputation of the trainer, experience, projects/websites he/she has successfully completed/ranked.
      3. Ranking of their own website (training website)

      Hope this helps.

I would pay a lot to have some of the top guys such as Eli the Bluehatter, do a workshop.

I wouldn't pay much for your average white hat SEO talk about onpage optimization and duplicate content.

I really think that SEO is a waste of time and if you are going to do it, don't obsess over it.

Too many people make the mistake of wanting to get on page 1 of Google for their niche or keywords and work way too hard and really think that they will get to page #1.

From my own experience, the best way and the surest way to get lots of targeted traffic to your site is through Pay Per Click.

I think it depends on the course content.

Is it going to be stuff that we talk about here every day, or do you know something we don't know?

I do agree with some of the people above that most of this info is readily available on the net, but I also think there is some value in having it presented in an organized manner.

Having said that, I would imagine most of the people who would need it organized into a course would be fairly new (all the old timers already know all this stuff or know where to go to get it for free) so I don't think you would be able to charge a lot.

so if the course was online and by a very experienced company and also you can take an online test in the member area how much would this be worth in your opinion? You would in other words learn from someone that have gained lots of top placements in Google in an online format step by step?
