How much does sales rise during Christmas?

Hi warriors,
I would like to know your experience during christmas?What happens to your affiliate income during Christmas?

    I really think that Christmas is one of the slowest time for affiliate marketing. Unless you are selling physical stuff that people can buy as presents to their family members, your sales will go down a little in Christmas.

    Then, when New Year comes, this is the best time of the year to make money online with affiliate programs. You should be doing a lot of advertising at that time.

      I sell physical items. I usually update my suppliers by the end of August while searching for new trendy products. I have it all up on eBay by September. October and November I start making sales which contribute to a trust factor between me and possible future buyers. Dec 1st up until 6 days before x-mas, I'm making a bunch of sales a day. I shut down completely from Dec 19th until Dec 26th so that people can Not buy from me... or else I get the "omg, I didnt get your item before x-mas" response. I take my own personal break for Chanukah.

      Then I load it all back up until it slows down completely mid January and I start to find new spring and summer products.

        Don't forget about after-Christmas too, when people are scrambling to find gifts for people they hadn't expected to receive gifts from!

    My affiliate sales go down as well, BUT, my other passive income channels pick up...most notably my xmas and thanksgiving adsense sites. Plus, i've got a series of recipe sites built around those themes and my adsense income is very fantastic because of the people sitting down at their computers and looking for recipes

    From my experience I can tell you that health is not the prime concern during Christmas is seems.

    As others have pointed out promoting everything that qualifies as a christmas present is probably the best choice if you want to see a serious bump in your sales.

    Seasonal sales rates really depend on what types of products you are selling. The IM market takes a big hit during the holidays, but physical items go through the roof.

    If you are selling IM products, then the holidays are a good time to slash your prices considerably.
