Hello Forum,

I am a newbie here and wanted some suggestions in regards to Blogging on Blogger.

These are:

1) Wanted to know if we could have separate blogs on same account, if yes would it make any difference if I write on two different subjects?
2) How could I monetize it ?
3) How could I make the blogs reach out to the traffic and start generating revenue?

Your comments would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Shaun.

    Shaun,

You really don't need to ask these, you can use Blogger information, plenty of info available there.

Maybe you could read more over here before you jump on your next venture? That would be pretty cool, you'll have more *IM* information to help you on the long run.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Shaun just a suggestion maybe you should not ask a question on your 4th post that is so wide reaching and call yourself "The specialist"

As for monetizing blogs that is just a very wide topic and lots and lots of information around this forum... so you are in the right place

EDIT: I also saw you have warroom membership there is a ton of useful information in there you are on the right track good luck with your endeavors

      Hey Cathy,

      Thanks for your reply.

Whether trivial or wide better to get any doubts clarified, doesn't matter if its the 4th or the 400th post.

      Cheers,

      Shaun.

Maybe he is a specialist in a non-IM field?

Yes, you can have multiple blogs with blogger.

Yes, you can write on different topics.

Blogger has Adsense and Amazon basically built-in so those would be your best bet to monetize.

As to SEO, find some threads in the SEO section to learn more. You would optimize pretty much the same way you would any website.

      Good luck,
      Tina

I would also suggest using the thread on Build a Blog Empire for Free. I found the thread on the weekend and I've already got up 26 blogs on Blogger. Too early to tell how successful they will be but I'm doing this long term. Good luck.

I don't recommend relying on Blogger for bigger projects as you can have your blog deleted or account banned anytime.

I have used up to 100 blogs on one account, but I would recommend you refrain from doing so...

When I did it, Blogger painted a great big bulls-eye on my blogs and would take them down within a few days of my verifying that I was actually a legitimate blogger operating those sites....

They would take down all my blogs, and then I would human validate to get them all turned back on... A week later, they would rinse and repeat the process... After going thru the entire process five times, when they took em down the sixth time, I walked away...

Most of those blogs were original content only... Some were even password protected, because they belonged to my children... Only mom and I could read what they had written...

Did not matter... they targeted me for take down, and kept repeating the process until I let them have their way...

My advice: While you can put 100 blogs on one account -- DON'T !!!
