How many people do you see daily playing with their cell phones?
The laws are starting up about no texting and driving!
95% of people read their text message's!

Facebook and Twitter are great BUT Do you think text message marketing will eventually beat them? I do.

Lets face it, the only way google,facebook, twitter etc. are any good is if people happen to go their and search or find your pages.

Text messaging puts it in their face NOW!

Even email has lost some appeal between spam filters and again your message sits there until they open their email program.

Again Text messaging puts it in their face NOW!

What are your thoughts?

See a sample text message marketing sign up by typing in your phone- "simplytext in" no quotes needed
and send it to 368638 I promise your phone wont get bombarded with ads and there is an easy unsubscribe.

Let me know what your thoughts are about the future of text message marketing on this thread.

    Here's my opinion on this - I'd be mad as hell to get texted advertising on my cell phone. It costs me money to send and receive texts, even tho I do have a plan and not a pay as you go phone. Is there nothing left in this world that is not filled with advertising hitting me in the face every time I turn around? My cell phone co. puts an ad on our phones about once a week and it annoys me.

    I'm sure there are people who will agree with you that it's a great idea, but I am not one of them. I dont have a phone so I can read ads, I have it to call people and text my kids and husband.

      I totally understand and agree with your points, the text message marketing im talking about is double opt in though, so you wont get it if you dont opt in.

      Just think how great this would be for bars and restaurants! Until now they really didnt have a way to start a list "money is in the list"
