Hello all.
I am want to use Fire Fox but I cannot view any videos.
I cannot even see the images on my web site that is on-line.
(Yes, it works)...

I have looked for the add-ons and plug-in's but all I see
are downloads for adobe flash.
Well, I already have those.

The video files that I view are such as: avi, flv, swf, etc...

Am I just looking in the wrong places?

Thanks for any feedback..

    Hello cashtech29,
Make sure you go to the source to download your Firefox software. For example mozilla.com and not some other website. That should rule out potential malicious code once you download and install Firefox. The next thing about the images and videos not showing could be related to your browser settings, or the fact that you actually do have some Firefox plugins installed and enabled. Adblock Plus, NoScript, and WebDeveloper are three plugins that I can think of right now that could block certain content on purpose, including images.

Please let us know what happens and if you run into any problems. Thanks.

Well, here's the problems that I'm having.

I went to Mozilla and downloaded fire fox
and also installed the adobe flash player.

I make my web sites using internet explorer.
Now when I try to view in firefox, or even the new
      Google chrome, there are differences.

Words are overlapped, and when I try to view a .swf video
from my server the .html coding of the video page comes up instead.

In internet explorer, the video shows just fine.

Is there some kind of method that is used to make web pages
      friendly with all internet browsers?

I would hate for others to see all kinds of junk when trying to
      view my sites.

      Any ideas?

Cashtech, when you say you make your Web sites using Internet Explorer what do you mean? Do you mean your Web site looks normal using Internet Explorer?

What type of software are you using to create your Web site? If you are using MS Word, it will really mess things up.

If you need an html editor I would recommend you using Dreamweaver or a free one like "CoffeeCup Free HTML Editor"

You might want to go to The W3C Markup Validation Service and make certain your HTML code is valid. This should help make certain your website is cross browser friendly. I am sure there are more tools that help you check that, but that is the first one that came to mind for me.
