want to put my product on the market but dont know where to start.

Okay,

So I have made something that i personally have been feeling that most people need or needed at sometime. Also, I feel that this product could be a very profitable product for me BUT I have no clue where to start when it comes to selling it.

I do not know whether I should try to have a JV or how much to charge or really anything.

It is about 20 pages (ebook) that is very useful.

I am thinking that the right price would be around $10 or less so I dont think anyone would really be interested in joining with me and sharing that money. I am thinking in reality if it did better then I think it would then I would sell 400 copies in a month. That's $4,000. But I have no idea if I could even get close to that number.

I have never sold my own product before. Also, I don't have much of a list so I was thinking if I sold it for less, like $5, then I would be able to try to focus on building my list instead of trying to make so much money.

Anything anyone could say to help me out? I am obviously lost for what to do. And I know sitting here is not getting me Anywhere!

A good place to sell your ebook would be in the WSO.

If you do a WSO you'll certainly get some feedback and might find someone that would JV with you if they thought it would sell for a bit more or they might have an upsell that complements your ebook.

And you're earning while you're learning.

BTW, This is my first post on the WF so I just wanted to say "hi" to all the Warriors!

        jimewing2121,

A WSO may be a good start to see if it's actually a product that people really need and/or want and are willing to give you money for it. It could also provide a way to gather feedback on the quality of the ebook as well as polling customers to see if they have any other questions that need to be answered in a revised edition.

Then consider if you can develop the ebook into a audio/video course, membership site, and/or a home-study course.

If it can, then recruit JVs/Affiliates and offer them 50%-100% commission to promote your inexpensive ebook and build a list of paying customers.

After that it's just a matter of sending them through your sales funnel to provide more value to your customers and make more money.

        Good luck with your product!

That's right no list is needed to sell in the WSO.

What you do is you just go to the WSO forum and post a new thread. It costs $20 and it's worth every penny

Man, if you ran a WSO, you'd have thousands on the list!

You could offer the WSO for $5 and have the regular price at $9.95. (You must offer the Warriors a special deal). Perhaps you could find several (say 5) experienced Warriors to look it over (free copy) and offer you advice on how to improve it, and have them offer testimonials, once complete.

What niche is it in? 20 pages? (no room for fluff, there. ) You'll need to draft your sales letter (keep the hype down to a minimum for the WSO. Save that stuff for the rube's on the outside). And, of course, the Copywriting Forum will give you direction on how best to create your sales letter.

You may want to consider adding audio or video to the package to increase preceived value, and get a better price. (example: Ebook, 2 Videos and an Audio. WSO price $14.95, Regular price $27.00)

This could work very well for you. A WSO thread will form around your product, and you will get lots of feedback...Some you can use for the testimonials on the "Outside World" sales page.

Sounds like a plan, and you seem like someone who takes action.

    So, good luck!

Thank you adam that was a great post.

The ebook is in the internet marketing niche for newbies. But I was wondering if I gave you a free copy if you could look it over and tell me what you think?

I have a couple ideas I am thinking about adding to it but I would like to know what you thought about it.
