Help Required - Amazon Reviews

Hi All

Aplogies if this is a stupid question but here goes.

Is there an easy way of showing specific Amazon customer reviews for a product? I don't want people to go to Amazon through any links, just show the reviews.

I am by the way using WordPress to build my site.

Thanks in advance.

The WP Zon Builder add-in will do this. I don't think I'm allowed to put the link in here for it, but you can search for it, and there is a video on the home page that demonstrates adding the Amazon reviews. I think there might be a WSO for this product as well.

I don't have this add-in yet, but am looking forward to getting it in a couple of weeks.

    Best,
    Anna

I was able to do this through syndicate kahuna. There is a video on it on their site. I don't know how to set up product reviews alone. I have heard that WP robot software does this, but I haven't investigated that. I think you can set up auto posts to include amazon ads and customer reviews for specfic products.

    Thanks Sarah and Zainuri

Looks like WP Robot might do the job but I was looking for a free method for the moment.

I think I will just cut and paste for now.

Raj, unless you are promoting Amazon products through the associate program, you do not have a license to use that content for any reason. It's copyrighted material, owned by Amazon.

Since you don't want to link to Amazon, what you are asking for is a free way to steal their content.

    Hi John

Thanks for that info! Does that mean that I can't take a screenshot with a caption 'Amazon reviews'? I have seen Amazon referenced in many websites before.

    Thanks

Yes, it does mean that. You're still fishing for loopholes. The format doesn't matter, you are still displaying copyrighted material without permission.

You'll see Amazon referenced on millions of web pages because amazon is the oldest, and likely one of the biggest, affiliate program on the web. And dollars to doughnuts, you aren't the first person to think about "borrowing" some intellectual property.

There's a widespread myth that as long as you give the original source credit, you can use anything you can find online. That, plus a seed, some water and some sunshine will grow flowers...

Why don't you simply MANUALLY cut and paste a small snippet of feedback from the Amazon site. Make sure you specify that it is from an Amazon customer, and make sure you don't rip off an entire pile of feedback. Just a sentence here and there, and source your material to Amazon.
