Hi,
I have a question or rather need some advise.
I have a website which I started around a year back.I have around 10-12 original keyword based articles in it.I do make a few clickbank sales here and there, but never see the money since I did not reach the clickbank requirement yet.

Since the last few months I did not really look at the site since I was having some personal issues(morning sickness for pregnancy).

But when I looked now it shows one of my article ranked around 5th on the first page of google and that is giving a a traffic of around 70 visitors/day.
I have not done anything for this article on my blog, except finding a good keyword and writing the article around it.

My question is what should I do to make it rank higher.I am guessing backlinking.Or is there more things I should do?

Thanks,
Pinky

Thats what I love about this business, you can create something and it works for you long after you've moved on!

Why not keep building the blog with more quality content and see if you can rank for other terms as well?

Put an subscriber box up as well ... you must build your list.

    Well done by the way

You need backlinks, and not just some stupid low quality backlinks from spam sites but high quality backlinks from reputable websites.

Here's what I recommend you do:

Write articles and submit them to article directories
    Create Web 2.0 properties
Guest Blog on blogs in your niche market
Participate in forums with your link in the signatures

EDIT: And just like John said, keep building content on your blog.

    Hope it helps

    Thanks John and Mohammad,
John I do have an opt-in page on my blog and have created around 200 subscribers yet.
I do plan to write more articles to get ranked, and most probably will do article marketing.
But I have seen with article marketing, the article remains on first page maybe for around a day or two,but if the article is on my blog it remains on the first page for a long time.
Mohammad, when you say create web 2.0 properties you mean create accounts on facebook twitter etc?I have just not done that yet.
It kind of scares me,and I don't know if its beneficial in my niche(not an Internet marketing niche)
