Can anyone answer this Google Analytics Question?

When I'm looking at my visitor overview stats and it shows me how many

People Visited This Site and Absolute Unique Visitors

Does this mean per day or per month? :confused:

I think the “visitor overview stats” is the data based on month, for I check mine from Google dashboard, it shows the date “August 8, 2010-Sep 7, 2010”. (Today is Sep 7, 2010).

And you can move your mouse to find out how many visitors visit your website in every single day.

Visitor overview and anything you do on googles analytics depends on what time frame you have it on. See what the date above the graph says that will tell you weather it is per day per month or per week. It completely depends on that setting. If you want to check per day change it to the day you want for start and stop. If you want it to show you per week change it for the week start and stop. If you want it for the month change it to start and stop month.

yes it is usually monthly then you click on the link to drill down into days etc.
