Need Feedback about Aged Domain

Hi All,
I'm new to aged domains and trying to invest my limited funds wisely. I've found a PR3 domain that shows lots of backlinks in SEO Spyglass (thanks cashcow). However, when I go directly to the URL, nothing comes up. Also, NameJet shows it Pending Deletion. If I buy this domain (for $69), will it keep its PR? Is there something else I should be looking at?

    I would recommend going through some of the links to make sure they are good quality, and also make sure the domain is not banned. It is pretty common for people trash a domain and then just let it go, and looking at the quality of the links pointing in can give you a good idea about the previous owner's seo plan.

        Yeah, I would like to know the same thing. I know when buying domain on Godaddy it only works out good if you buy a expiring domain, these are the ones with like $10+ and has Bid next to it. The expired ones are closeouts and basically have been deleted and no longer provides any aged domain benefits.

    While nothing comes up if you directly type in the domain into your browser, Google may have these pages cached. You'll want to see the PR of these pages that are showing up in the SERPs. You can use SEO Quake and then type in site:yourdomainname.com into Google. If you're seeing that it is a PR3 and other pages do have PR, that's a good indicator that the domain is not banned. Now if you're seeing no PR, then I would not buy it.
