This is the quote that changed my life and encouraged me to own my own businesses - (at least English Class was good for something)

By working faithfully eight hours a day you may eventually get to be boss and work twelve hours a day.

Haha, this is a good quote to inspire you to find a system that will make you money more effectively than a job will.

Have you read 'The E-Myth Revisited' by Micheal Gerber? It talks a lot about this and the fact that many people who are good at the technical side of a business think that they would be good entrepreneurs, when actually the opposite is often true.

    Glad English class inspired you...

I used to have a poster on my wall...

"Being my own boss means I can work half-day every day. I even get to choose which 12 hours!"

I remember that one. I agree with it wholeheartedly, for the last 25 years I have had my own business and I wouldn't have it any other way. :-)

Thats a good quote - pretty much sums it up!

I also like this one from (Apple boss) and entrepreneur, Steve Jobs...

"Man is the creator of change in this world. As such he should be above systems and structures, and not subordinate to them."

Good quote - I agree with it too, working as boss may give you more hours but gives you more options when or how you like to work.
