"Newbie" MRR Question

If I buy a product with MRR, and if I intend to sell it to an end user (e.g. retail consumer), must I sell it with the MRR license or can I just sell it as a single product? Meaning if an end user buys the product without any intention to resell it or grant MRR to anyone since they are buying it only for personal consumption, do I still have to grant the MRR license or not?

Alternatively -- if I am selling the MRR product on a web site intended for resellers, I would, of course, grant the same MRR license that I received when I purchased and not just resell rights.

I have a feeling the answer is pretty obvious and forgive me for this 'newbie' type question but I just want to be safe and know the right way of doing this.

Thanks!

You are pretty much right on. You do NOT have to pass on "Master resale rights" to a customer that purchases a product from you.

If you do plan on giving the MRR away with the product, just make sure the license says you can. Most of the time with MRR licenses you can just pass on the MRR to your customer, but sometimes you cannot.
