Does this forum Need a 'PRODUCT CREATION' SECTION ?

Creating your own product in your niche is a big step in your IM Career but it can really be profitable too.

Products can be
-ebooks, video products, mp3 products, physical products, physical handbooks, membership site content etc.

There are many questions asked about product creation here, do you think this forum should have a Product Creation section for these types of questions, that focuses just on these areas?

(just like there is a copywriting section too)


Questions addressed there could be like
-is my product creation strategy fine
-office org questions
-dragons natural speaking questions
-Fullfilment questions
-payment questions,
-upsell ideas/ questions
- any other product creation questions

and these questions would get more focus, as they would be in their own category, and have their own attention from members- which is for a topic - product creation which so many people are having trouble with.

What do you think? : Does the Warrior Forum Needs a Product creation section?

    Hmm... well, theoretically speaking there are a ton of different sections that we could add to the WarriorForum, like a site flipping section, PLR section, or such.

    But then it would get too messy. Might be good to keep things simple and to just throw everything else in the General Forum section.

    Personally, I think we already have too many sub forums so adding another
    one is not on my list of things I think we should do.

    Having said that, I'm just a nobody here and don't make the decisions. So if
    the powers that be decide to make a product creation sub forum then it'll
    be done.

    Maybe if enough people want it, they will.

    My vote is no.

    But again, I'm just a nobody here.

      As another nobody and a newbie nobody at that I agree with this NO vote for reasons given - enough subforums as it is .

    Hi Matt,

    No. I don't think the WF needs such a section.

    I know you mean well, but generally speaking, the one section that gets the most views is the general discussion board.

    A Product Creation section would most likely call LESS attention to the questions people have. Also, there is a lot of overlap between product creation and other business models - how would posters know which section to post in?

    I don't know, I think things are pretty good now. That's my opinion, anyway.

    No need for more sections/forums. (Not that th owner needs advice on this from me, LOL)

    People are not able to use correctly even the existing ones!

    Matt, did you notice how many "warriors" don't realize there is a copywriting section and instead of asking reviews/opinions about their sales/optin page there... they come to the main forum.

    I think there's an easy solution, instead of segmenting forums, If people used the TAGS, there wouldn't be a need for sections at all.

    It could be as simple as qualifying your thread title...

    i.e. [product creation]Q: How do I...

      You are exactly right.

      People (myself included) don't use the tags and that's terrible because if someone searches for your thread using tags, he won't find it.

      EDIT: But I kinda like the idea of a sub-forum.

      I mean product creation is a huge topic but like other said, allen doesn't take suggestions from me so I'll just keep moving

    I totally agree about PPC and SEO being separated and I would also love an area to specifically discuss product creation. As a product creator it would be good for learning, networking and building trust and quality.

    Considering some of the crap that goes through the WSO forum, I think anything that helps warriors raise the bar will help.
