Feedback on my Sales Copy

I'm more of a "software" guy than a marketer, but I try to wear both hats. Any feedback on my software release announcement would be appreciated.

    Well the copy looks right on the money. I would add a screen shot for the clickbank widget link at the beginning. Other than that your niche looks like you should get some good traffic. Don't worry the marketing part will come faster than it took you to learn php. Good luck

    I'm a sometime programmer/developer too. And I read the page and I still do not have a clear idea as to what the product does. It is a code library or toolkit of some kind obviously. But beyond that WHY I should use it is not clear.

    Could this software release be more like a sales page or sales tool.
    Highlight just who the target audience is or WHY they would want to use the product and then list all the benefits to the 'buyer'?

    I make these comments since you ask for feedback.

    In your title you call it sales copy and in body of message you say 'software release announcement'
    so I think the more useful approach is 'sales copy' since presumably you want it to sell for you!

    Good stuff. Thank you. I am going to review this evening and see what I can do to make it more clear what it does.

    Second question: Are there any easy methods to offer a "giveaway" or otherwise here on Warrior to help promote? Or maybe some good examples of other software vendors that have offerings here?

    Well, I would say you need some graphics that bring some physical idea of the product to the customer. Lets say, being a piece of software you could get some nice "cd box" graphics done plus some screen shots which always work great.
